This course features some very smooth greens and a terrain that favors those who wish to walk. Set in the foothills west of Denver, other than a few trees and a splash of water, the course is fairly wide open. The par 5 holes are reachable with two good shots, or may be approached with a short club on the third shot.
The 18-hole "Arrowhead" course at the Arrowhead Golf Club facility in Littleton, Colorado features 6,682 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 70.9 and it has a slope rating of 134 on Blue grass. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., ASGCA, the Arrowhead golf course opened in 1974

This course is flat and has many bunkers. There are over 100 trees that have recently been planted. This is a good practice course and well maintained. One lake comes into play on two holes.

This course features water hazards coming into play on seventeen holes. Hole #17, a 226-yard, par 3, was rated as one of the top twenty most difficult holes in Colorado by the "Colorado Golf Associates." This hole has water running the entire length of the right side and players must carry the ball over a portion of the water hazard to reach the well-protected green off the tee.
This course features a well-planned view of the Colorado countryside in its fullest. A good tee shot and an excellent short game are the keys to making it through this course under par. There is no specific signature hole for this course, however, each hole offers a golfer a new, unique atmosphere in which to play. "GOLF Magazine" selected this course 52nd in the 1998 category of the "Top Courses You Can Play In The U.S."
The Dunes course, designed by Pete and Perry Dye, is a Scottish style links course, meandering along the South Platte River. Plenty of pot bunkers, mounds and water, and (naturally) the trademark railroad ties, are featured on this consistently top-rated public golf course in Colorado!
A traditional park-style layout, but criss-crossed by canals, The Knolls has plenty of hazards, trees,
and features many elevated greens.
This links-style course has a street bisecting the front nine from the back nine. Water hazards (lakes) come into play on three holes. The signature hole is #18, a 474-yard, par 4, because it has a water hazard coming into play on one side of its fairway.
The 18-hole "Twin Peaks" course at the Twin Peaks Golf Course facility in Longmont, Colorado features 6,810 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 71.7 and it has a slope rating of 123 on Rye grass. Designed by Frank Hummel, the Twin Peaks golf course opened in 1977.
The 18-hole "Ute Creek" course at the Ute Creek Golf Course facility in Longmont, Colorado features 7,167 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.1 and it has a slope rating of 131 on Rye grass. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., ASGCA, the Ute Creek golf course opened in 1997.
Wellshire Golf Club, located at 3333 South Colorado Boulevard, features an 18-hole regulation course, pro shop and two restaurants. Designed by Donald Ross in 1926, and voted one of the best public facilities in the nation, Wellshire Golf Club strives to maintain that reputation. Its layout winds through mature trees, and the challenges on holes 12 and 14 are referred to by locals as "Amen Corner." You will repeatedly be drawn back to the unique Wellshire experience.
